Shoulder Knots Keep Coming Back?

The Surprising Fix for Shoulder Blade Knots

Do you struggle with stubborn 💥knots💥 in your shoulder blades?
Massage may feel great in the moment.
And stretching helps for a little while.
But neither will get rid of those knots for good.
The real solution for relief that lasts is to get your muscles to actively contract and relax!
This may seem counterintuitive, but it actually helps release tension and prevent those knots from coming back.
If you’re tired of the constant aches, it’s time to try a different approach.

JUST ONE THING

Your JUST ONE THING to Relieve Shoulder Blade Knots:

Actively Engage Your Shoulder Blade Muscles

Exercises that actively engage your shoulder blade muscles like the ones below tell your muscles to relax and let go of tension.

These moves also help re-engage the right muscles, improving posture and strengthening your shoulders.

Do them regularly, and you’ll notice less tightness, better posture, and fewer knots over time.🎉

It’s a win-win!

Shoulder Blade Circles & Prisoner Elbow Squeezes

  1. Shoulder Blade Circles - Make a fist, with your arm straight out in front of you. Roll your shoulder in a circle, keeping your arm straight. Then roll in the opposite direction.
  2. Prisoner Elbow Squeezes - Put your hands up by your head so your fingertips lightly touch behind your ears. Squeeze your elbows together, rounding your upper back. Then pull your elbows as far back as possible.
  3. Do each exercise 6-8 times.

Extra Tip: If your hips in particular always feel stiff and tight, these gentle seated stretches feel really great.

Did You Know...

  • Too much pressure, like from a deep massage, can backfire. The intense pressure may trigger your muscles to protect themselves, tensing up even more.
  • Poor posture, like hunching forward, puts extra strain on your shoulder blade muscles, making them work overtime and leading to constant knots.
  • Strengthening your posture with daily exercises (like in this FREE Posture Masterclass) can help relieve knots and improve how your whole body feels in just a few weeks!

Until next week... Be strong
